Website Updating Guidelines
The New Directives package offers you minor text updates on a monthly basis without any additional fees! We request that you use the following guidelines for any update that you may have and submit your request via THIS EMAIL LINK.
Text updates are generally done within five business days from the day received and graphical updates are placed on the project board and processed in the order they are received. * (see RUSH REQUEST info below)
We accept updates typed in the body of your email or attached as a MSWord document. If you have photos or graphics, please send large files in a separate email, attached one at a time to ensure they are not too large for transmission. * (see FTP info below)
Of course, if you have questions about an update, please feel free to call our offices or email us with your questions prior to sending the update.
Please Note: We do not accept faxes for updates, as they are often too hard to read for accuracy.
We accept any of the following files for design and updates:
- Word Documents [.doc]
- Rich Text Format [.rtf]
- Photoshop [.psd]
- Adobe Acrobat [.pdf]
- JPEG Files [.jpg]
- Portable Network Graphics [.png]
- Encapsulated PostScript [.eps]
- Graphics Interchange Format [.gif]
- Excel Files [.xls]
If you have a large number of photos or graphics for updates, they can be burned on a CD or DVD. Call or email us to schedule an appointment to pick them up from your business. Or you can snail mail them to our address listed below.
We offer photography services for your convenience! Please call our office for more information.
* FTP (File Tranfer Protocol) can also be arranged if you have that capability. Email or call us and we will work with you to set that up.
* RUSH REQUESTS You can request an update be "rushed" and therefore be placed ahead of the line on our project board. If you would like to make a rush request, it must be submitted via THIS EMAIL LINK. and indicate you are submitting a RUSH REQUEST in the subject line. Please be aware that there is a $200 rush service fee in addtion to our regular rate card for updates. A rush request does not guarantee an update will be done immediately - only that you will be put ahead of the other work on the project board being processed in our standard Monday through Friday work week. Our offices hours are 9am to 6pm CST.
